josh and kate are from las vegas, and escaped to santa barbara for an intimate beach wedding. and i was stoked because the ceremony took place just before the sunset - my favorite time to shoot! josh and kate had a super cool twist to their wedding that i'd never seen before. immediately following the ceremony, they had their first dance right there on the beach at sunset! what a beautiful evening and beautiful couple!

alex and kirsten just had an absolutely amazing wedding this weekend at my alma mater - westmont college! kirsten is the stellar women's basketball coach at westmont, and it provided an unbelievable setting for a wedding. westmont's campus is actually a former montecito estate that was donated to the college. everywhere you look, there is lush greenery. it was so much fun being on campus again, i even showed up early and had lunch at the "DC" for old times sake.
the reception was held at the cabrillo arts pavillion which sits on east beach in santa barbara.

you've got to hear this story...
this past christmas, rosendo was flying up to seattle where camille and her family were. he was excited because he was about to propose. but there was a bump in the road. en route to seattle, the engagement ring was stolen! not to be dissuaded, rosendo proposed to camille - with a promise of love and another ring to come. so, tonight at their engagement session - rosendo presented camille with the ring. i felt so privileged to be there to document it. camille's face was priceless. we got so many great images tonight, but i was so thrilled with the story that i'm mostly posting shots of the ring sequence.
i can't wait for their wedding at the amazing firestone vineyard this october!
