another beautiful day in paradise provided the backdrop for mike and kelly's engagement session tonight. mike and kelly were so much fun to be around, and kelly was radiant. We started out at serra cross park in ventura. What an amazing place, with views of ventura in every direction. we then headed down to the beach to catch the sunset. i can't wait for their september wedding at the gorgeous belle loreve in ojai.
katherine and jeremy are from arizona, and are going to have a beautiful destination wedding at fess parker's winery in october. they are both great people, and they both are in service to their community as jeremy is a fire fighter and katherine is a social worker. for their engagement session we had a blast cruising around downtown santa barbara. i can't wait for the wedding!
chris and traci live in texas but met at ucsb, so we returned to campus to shoot their engagement session. we had so much fun cruising around before ending up at the beach. i love traci, before she chose her date at the rincon beach club, she kept checking with me first to see if i was available! i can't wait for their amazing beach wedding in september!
nick and tammy are such great sports. they powered through this engagement session without complaint despite it being one of the windiest day of the year. by the end of the evening i'm sure they were frozen, but you would have never known it with all the fun they were having! thanks nick and tammy!
chis and lauren are beautiful people inside and out. I had so much fun tonight shooting their engagement session while we bathed in gorgeous sunlight. we were at the ventura pier, where chris and lauren had their first date! lauren is also a fan of the 80's band journey - so of course it had to go in the slideshow. its takin' me way back!
I'm so excited about their wedding at the beautiful maravilla gardens this july.
alex and kirsten are such cool people, and they were so much fun at their engagement shoot tonight. we had a great time strolling on the beach. what a beautiful place to live! can't wait for their wedding next month!
steve and leah are so awesome! they had their heart set on doing their engagement session at the beach, but as soon as we all pulled up at the parking lot, it started raining. it looked liked a fairly localized rain cloud, so we decided to try and out run the rain with our cars. we headed south on the 101 and when stopped we were blessed with an amazing sky for a back drop. it was cold and very windy, but steve and leah never batted an eye, and never complained. here are a few shots from last night.
